Chef Yerika Muñoz studied Gastronomy at the California School of Culinary Arts in the city of Pasadena, California (USA)

She did her professional internship in the pastry area at The Peninsula Hotel, located in Beverly Hills, where she received the proposal to stay and work for another year.

Thanks to her tenacity, perseverance and courage, she accepted the challenge of opening the restaurant Frida , the legendary Mexican haute cuisine restaurant in the city of Beverly Hills, Los Angeles.

Thanks to her talent, she was contacted on several occasions by Crystal Cruises executives, as they considered her to be a great leader and wanted her to be part of their team.

With Crystal Cruises she had the opportunity to direct more than 180 chefs, led jointly, with 10 other chefs at the helm.

While on board Crystal Cruises, she was invited to lead a very exciting and attractive new project: Astrid y Gastón México.

Thus she had the chance to develop her culinary knowledge once again by joining the team of the great internationally recognized Chef, Gastón Acurio.

She currently provides gastronomic consulting services in Silicon Valley, San José, CA.
